Falcon Field is an athletic facility for use by the Meriden School District, City of Meriden sports programs, and other teams/organizations. The name is derived from Polish Falcons Nest 68 who originally owned the 30 acre tract of land and established Falcon Park in 1949 to support their organization’s social and athletic activities. A project to completely renovate the complex was completed in 2008. The synthetic turf facility has a press box, seating for 1,500+ spectators, plenty of parking (access to additional parking if necessary), a combined concession stand/field house, field lighting and includes handicap parking with provisions for handicap access throughout the facility.
